My School

 

The name of my school is Ginigathhena Central College. It is located in Ginigathena town of Nuwara Eliya district and it is the best school in that area. Although my school is among the difficult schools, it always works to provide the best possible facilities to the children studying in the school. More than 2500 children are studying in this school and more than 100 highly skilled staff are teaching here.

I joined my school in 6th grade in 2010. From that day till advanced level, I got my education from this school. Also, I have worked as a senior prefect in my school. I see it as a blessing in my life.

Currently in our college, the present Principal is Upul Indrajith Sir. What needs to be said in particular is that he is also an alumnus of our college. All the ongoing renovations in the college are taking place under his guidance.

Looking at the history of my school, many talented doctors, lawyers and teachers have contributed to the country. Also, I hope that in the future, a group of children who will work for the country will be born from this school.
